Products: Options: Bombay Doors / Drip tray
A Bombay Door is used in conjunction with non-gasketed filter presses to catch any fluid "wicking" from the filter cloths. The Bombay Door is constructed of stainless steel. A hydraulic cylinder mounted on one side and activating both doors via a linkage arm is used to open and close the Bombay Doors. In the closed position any liquid dripping is captured. In the open position they act as chutes to direct discharging filter cake.
