The semi-automatic plate shifter is available as an option with 630 mm size presses and larger. The semi-automatic Plate Shifters are constructed of carbon steel. They come premounted to the filter press. A flexible airline is included which operates using air from the filter press main air line. The built-in safety design requires the operator's hand to be on the unit and away from the plates before operation can begin. The shifter is operational from the same side as the control panel unless specified.
The Automatic Plate Shifter is a side mount chain driven design. The shifting cycle is continuous and automatic until the cycle is interrupted by the light curtains. The shifter is operational from the same side as the control panel only.
